Follow the directions precisely – placement on the arm is critical (above that little bone on your wrist) and ensure you have little to no arm hair in the area where the sensors are! This watch was surprisingly accurate compared side-by-side and at the same time as the medical equipment I was hooked up to. My wife is an intensivist and was skeptical and still is but based on how people will misuse it. We brought the watch into her work to compare it to $100k+ in medical equipment. The hospital ECG picks up on around 20 heart issues, this watch 4-5 of those. Valve or heart enlargement, no. Valve timing, yes, and was beat for beat right on. Her staff was surprised and with some of the app features, it could be used to monitor elderly relatives remotely. Not an FDA approved device but might get you to the hospital faster than nothing.
