I had a few problems getting started, but finally got it working. The board is “AI-Thinker” and I needed to use the Wrover setting. Screenshots of the setup are attached. Definitely a fun little gadget.

It works well. The camera has the expected quality. I was able to load my firmware and it recognizes the QR well. That’s what I expected.

Fast shipping. I ordered 4 boards and first thought PSRAM isn’t working but you need to be sure that the board is powered with 5.0V then also PSRAM works. The chip need a very stable voltage source.

Received ESP32-CAM with PSRAM issue that cannot be fixed despite trying everything (external stable 5v supply, various FITD, different board config etc) Contacted seller and was informed that it was from problematic batch and seller promptly refunded RST button on ESP32-CAM-MB does not work. Just use the RST button on ESP32-CAM. IO0 button works well. Hold IO0 on ESP32-CAM-MB and press RST on ESP32-CAM to enter flashing mode I have placed another order after the refund
